Teaching Experience

A personal tutor of a grade 12 student. During the pandemic, it was really hard for some students to keep up with the pace brought about by the online and modular learning. Thus they need an extra hand for them to fully grasp challenging lessons. Through this I was able to practice dealing with a student online. It helped me reflecton the student’s learning style and adjust on their capabilities. This also helped me to develop communication as well as teaching skills.

Finished internship as a Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English student. With this, I have met students with various learning styles and abilities. I have practiced the art of questioning and the art of teaching and have handled situations that helped me reflect about the needs of the students as I formulated and applied proper teaching approaches and strategies.
